Getting Fat at Smorgasberg

Smorgasburg is food lovers heaven. A Brooklyn food flea market, there are over 100 food vendors who attend this year-round weekend event so you'll find everything from exotic teas to different flavored fries.
In the heat of summer, Smorasburg is on held by the river on Kent Avenue in Williamsberg. However, in the winter it emigrates inside to Dean Street near Prospect Heights.
While Smorgasburg is great to roam around and discover the latest food trends and obscure eateries, it also comes with a big decision to make. With only one belly and so much fresh food to choose from it's extremely difficult to make that perfect choice of which vendor to buy from. Noodles at the Brooklyn Wok Shop, a grilled cheese sandwich at Milk Truck or a curry as Masala Mama?
To accomodate this problem it's advised you wear elasticated trousers.
Due to my own limited consumption space I can only comment on the New York famed ramen burger. Many New Yorkers talk about this as one of the city's tastiest treats and with all this talk of wondorous flavours it was necessary to plunge into the burger unknown.
In short, Ramen Burger offers a burger minus a bun and in its place are compacted noodles sandwiching the meat in between.
For me, the verdict is still out on the asian twist to this american classic. The burger itself is good, the noodles are great and the relish is even better but together the combination is odd, tasty but odd. However, with a queue longer than any other vendors at the food market, it certainly is a Willy fave and well worth a try if only to feel like a true New Yorker.
No doubt about it, Smorgasburg requires frequent visits in order to cross off more of Brooklyn's weird and wonderful culinary delights. Watch this space...
