Rockefeller Picture Book

The View

The View

An October day in NYC and it's clear views of this stunning city. Just $30 to go up, the centre takes you through the journey of how it was built, the traditions it upholds and explains what goes on inside all before you hit the top.

Am I Touching It?

Am I Touching It?

A cheesy one but it has to be done. Back in summer 2009, this was taken on my first visit to the Rockefeller Centre. Sunny skies and city views but you can visit the Top of the Rock all year round.

Rocking the Selfie

Rocking the Selfie

A selfie with The Empire State in the background. This is one of the reasons many people opt to go up the Rockefeller as opposed to The Empire State, your pictures get this iconic baby in the background.

Snow covered NYC

Snow covered NYC

Believe it or not this shot was taken in March. Yes, when you'd be expecting the trees to thaw and the sun to make an appearance snow was still falling covering Central Park.

Sibling Love

Sibling Love

My third visit to the Rockefeller with my brother mid January. Sunny skies but freezing temps it was surprisingly warm at The Top of the Rock.

A Spring View

A Spring View

What a difference a few weeks can make. This shot was taken only a month after the snow covered photo was taken. In four short weeks spring was out in full force meaning a lush green Central Park view.

Don't Look Down

Don't Look Down

The Top of the Rock isn't for those with a fear of heights. Look down and the pedestrians can barely be seen. Luckily there's heavy barriers to keep you from toppling down.

Us Again

Us Again

The Top of the Rock is full of toursists snapping away and who can blame them when the views are astounding. One tip I've picked up is pre-booking the Rock online beforehand so you can skip the queues.

Windswept in March

Windswept in March

Hats and scarves in March and probably the coldest of my visits despite the late month. Another tip I've picked up from my many visits is timing your trip for sunset so you get to see the views during both day and night.
